GERMAN OCCUPATION DEPORTATION BERGEN-BELSEN EMIGRATION

1944: After Germans occupied Hungary,

Judy and her family were deported to the Bergen-Belsen Concentration camp

Grandparents and her extended family died in Auschwitz.

Her mother’s brother died in a forced labor camp

Freed with her parents and brought to Switzerland

Attended boarding school

1946: Moved to the United States with her parents

Received MBA and Ph.D. while working and raising a family

As a holocaust survivor, she considers it a sacred obligation to speak about the Holocaust in order to teach its lessons
