Her mother Rivka fled after warning her family about an impending roundup of Jews/Arrested and deported to Auschwitz

August 1943: Rose-Helene and her grandmother Sarah fled to the unoccupied zone

“I was shaking for hours that this could have been the end of us.”

The allies liberated their town in august 1944

Rose-Helene was waiting for her mother but Rivka was murdered in Auschwitz

1961 Married an American and migration to the United States
