March 13, 1944 after Denunciation: Arrested with father, brother and nephew

Imprisoned in Avignon and Les Baumettes/Internment in Drancy

Deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau/Never saw her father and brother again

Bergen Belsen concentration camp

Theresienstadt concentration camp/Forced labor/Typhus

May 1945 Liberation and Repatriation

June 6, 1945 Return to Paris/Reunited with surviving family members

Remained Silent for more than 50 years

2000 first return to Birkenau/joined an association of former deportees

Appointed Commandeur dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques

Published her memories in a book “Return to Birkenau”

Today, she tells young people about her experiences during the Holocaust
