NUREMBERG LAWS. FATHER COULD NO LONGER WORK. US-VISAS WERE ISSUED. DEPARTURE SHORTLY BEFORE “KRISTALLNACHT”.

1935: anti-jewish laws changed life in Gleiwitz.

Father could no longer make a living as a surgeon due to extremely difficult times for jewish families in Germany.

US-visas were issued in June 1938.
Father immediately traveled to the United States.
Frank and his mother followed in October,
Less than a month before “Kristallnacht”.
