Was in ghetto Czernowitz.
Afterwards in ghetto Transnistria and from there transported to ghetto in Obadaca/Ukraine.

Had to go on a death march to Bessarabia/Ukraine.
Worked in the Balta ghetto in an orphanage.

The queen of Romania pardoned all jews and she was taken to Romania and later liberated by the Russians. Russians took her and her sister and brother instead of back to Czernowitz to Konstantinovka.

She escaped to Poland and from there to a DP camp in Bavaria.

Came to the US in 1946 as an orphan.
