GERMAN INVASION. FORCED LABOR CAMP. LIBERATION. REUNION. DISPLACED PERSONS CAMP.

Germans invaded Poland when Anna was 14. Spent the war in Parschnitz, a forced labor camp in Czechoslovakia.

After liberation, Anna was reunited with her sister and two brothers. Siblings lived in the Bergen-Belsen displaced persons camp. Anna met her husband Isak there, the co-founder of the midwest center for holocaust education.

1946: They came to the United States.
